The Ace Group Foundation, Inc. (TAGF) was formed in 2019 by Thomas Ganse, Michael “Mac” McNellis, and Stan Salamon who, after successfully launching Air Combat Effectiveness Consulting Group (ACE Group) in 2014, wanted a meaningful way to give back to the community. Since achieving 501(c)(3) status in 2020, a portion of ACE Group profits have been donated to the foundation for charitable purposes.
The early years of the foundation were spent developing necessary policies and procedures and establishing criteria for awards. Since then, TAGF has donated over $30 thousand dollars to local and national non-profit organizations that share their commitment to Integrity, Service, Stewardship, and Patriotism.
TAGF achieved a significant milestone in 2024 by establishing a Tailhook Association scholarship in the name of CAPT Zachery “Bo” Henry. At the climax of a noteworthy career as a Naval Aviator, Bo was selected as the Commanding Officer of NAS Patuxent River. Upon retiring from the Navy, Bo joined ACE Group as a senior engineer where he continued to serve the Pax community until his untimely death.
The TAGF board is thankful for the opportunity to serve like-minded local and national organizations through meaningful contributions and looks forward to increased giving as resources permit.
