President
Erin Emery currently serves as the Foundation’s President and has been involved with the non-profit for 5 years. She has been in the Human Resources field in support of the defense industry for over 25 years. She has lived in the Southern Maryland area since 1996, raised 2 children here, and is the co-founder of a local veteran focused non-profit for over 5 years. She is passionate about the community she lives in and eager to provide support to make a difference in the lives that live and work in it.
Vice President
John Speredelozzi is a recent addition to Southern Maryland and to the Foundation. John is a retired Naval Flight Officer and, in addition to supporting the Naval Air Systems Command at Patuxent River, is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at ACE Consulting Group. He has been active in the defense sector for over 35 years and is looking forward to working with the outstanding organizations through which the Foundation is making a difference in our community.
Treasurer
Aaron Young is serving as the Treasurer of the Foundation and has been involved since April 2023. He graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering in May 2022. He is now supporting the Combat Survivability Division at Naval Air Station Pax River. His desire to help others is a motivating factor behind his many years of community service.
Secretary
Makayla Mikesell is serving as the Foundation’s Secretary and has been involved with the Foundation since April 2023. She completed her B.S.E in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University in May 2025. She is currently serving as a Customer Mission Director at ACE Consulting Group and additionally has been supporting the Combat Survivability Division at the Naval Air Station Patuxent River since 2020. She has a passion to find ways to support her community in any way she can.

Brian Minerly works in PAX River Maryland as part of the Futures Advanced Capabilities Team at NAVAIR. Retired as a Master Chief Petty Officer after 25 years of dedicated Service. Stands as a devoted father and loyal member of the community.

Tom Ganse is a retired Naval Aviator and life-long volunteer. He founded the Air Combat Effectiveness Consulting Group (ACE Consulting Group) in August 2013, with a mission of “Service First”. In 2019, he encouraged his co-owners to authorize the establishment of the ACE Group Foundation as an IRC 501(c)3 Private Foundation with a mission of giving back a share of company profits to the community. Tom resigned as President of ACE Consulting Group after installing a Chief Executive Officer and now looks forward to applying his wealth of volunteer experience to serve the Board as they ensure ACE Consulting Group’s vision flourishes.
